The Sinking of the Steamboat Lexington on Long Island Sound

On Nov. 14th, the Historical Society of Islip Hamlet hosted author Bill Bleyer and his discussion of his book, "The Sinking of the Steamboat Lexington on Long Island Sound".  He went into detail on the construction of the boat to its demise.  He also discussed the life of the 4 survivors and showed photos of the wreck that was rediscovered by a team of divers.
