Behind the Bottle: The Rise of Wine on Long Island Presented by Eileen Duffy
On Thursday, Sept. 19th, the society hosted Eileen Duffy who presented a program based on her book, "Behind the Bottle: The Rise of Wine on Long Island" which told the story of how the Island became a world class wine growing region and the lives of the winemakers who unlocked Long Island's potential and preserved its agricultural heritage.
